THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Our concrete interlocking blocks can either be manufactured on your own site, regarding there is a level concrete floor, or they can be manufactured off site, and delivered (this will cost extra).

The process starts by laying out sheets of metal to rest the large moulds on. we then prep the moulds by inserting the steel hooks & spraying them with a lubricant, so as the blocks slide out easily after they have set.

With the moulds prepped, the concrete can now be poured. This is typically done using a concrete lorry. the lorry will reverse up to the moulds, align the shoot, and fill the mould. once the mould is filled, we then using a vibrating pole to vibrate the concrete around the mould and into all nooks and crannies.

once the concrete is poured, it is left over night to set. we then return in the morning to begin the un-moulding process. we hook the moulds up so as they are suspended the way they would be laid. we then unbolt the bottom half of the mould, and gently remove it using a sledge hammer. once the bottom half slides off, we then tap the top half so as the block becomes completely free from the mould. the block is now ready for use.
